I know! So fortuitous! And apparently only since I wrote about the knife that always cuts me, so it's a very recent tag but... maybe this means I have more knives in my life ahead?

These guys are definitely livening up the neighborhood (which was already a fun neighborhood in terms of kids).

They do! This little girl goes over to the other girls' yard, and they let her join in. She's younger than the younger of those two, but they seem to be friendly with her, although maybe slightly more in a "we must tolerate this and be gracious because that's what mom wants us to do" way than in a "yay, another kid to play with" way. The younger sister in the house on my right told me in a very noncommittal way that this little one comes to play in their yard. She said it like she was relaying a fact, not like she hated it, but not like she loved it either.

This one's older sibling is a brother, maybe the same age as the older sister on my other side, but he plays mainly with the little boy across the street. Those two are cute/get props because they are unfailingly masked when playing with one another.
