flowers?

I saw this odd little scene two days running, a very tiny makeshift stand by the side of the road, a rainbow umbrella, a sign, a cinderblock (and probably a moneybox somewhere, but I didn't notice--I was in a car), so I made a cartoon (?) about it:

Flowers: a flexible term!

so I made a cartoon (?) about it

I love both this cartoon and the mystery of the summer squash. If all time is eternally present, they're still flowers!

I'll replace with ones that don't break the timeline

My browser did not explode!

Super curious if the stand is still there and if it ever has flowers. Perhaps this is some sort of surrealist art installation!

I wonder if someone traded the summer squash for flowers? Then I imagine someone wanting those squash for the pot, and leaving some corn. And somebody else needs some sweetcorn, and leaves plums. And the next day, someone takes the plums, and leaves apples . . .

Squash are flowers. Just grown up. Like the old riddle "a cherry without a stone" is a cherry blossom, only in reverse.

A cinderblock can be a flower, I think.

A flower of industry! Well, that's a pretty anti-industrial concept. :D

And mushroom clouds and corpses as flowers of militarization.

Yeah. I started out thinking of a cinder block as a flower, and enjoying the loveliness of the regard. When the phrase "flower of industry" came into my head, though, it seemed inherently Gradgrindy. Hence the other fleurs du mal.
